Oh Henry!!!!

As rich as British history is, there is no other character quite as notorious and etched in us Brits as Henry V111. His beautiful home,  just outside London, Hampton Court still stands today, 500 years after his, what many would consider, most successful reign.

Andy has been commissioned to do a survey on the health of the grasslands by looking at the fungi. With me in tow, we have been been arriving at first light and relishing in the solitude. The park is also as thick with deer as it is history, originally put there for hunting.

It's quite incredible to believe that the only reason we are not all Catholics today is the fact that Henry Tudor wanted to get his legover with Anne Boleyn. Most British secretly, or not so secretly admire him and I can't help but find his ruthless charachter somewhat attractive. Oh well, I guess I was always attracted to the bad boys.

On another note, we have been finding the most incredible mushrooms and they seem to be supersized for some reason....well, I will leave that to the experts although I am not adverse to cooking them.
