The Rise of the Russula!!!

Halleluja! The Russula has risen and we were stumbling over countless varieties this morning as Andy and I had our own personal foray on the way home from Hampstead, through the Heath and into Golders Park. Just shy of the donkeys, nestled in between some oaks were a spectacular variery. The more I see these fruits, I marvel at the richness of color. Here is a Purple Black Russula! This is actually an edilble with an apparent spicy twang!
