Snack Attack

As the typical British summer gets in to full swing, the natives are tortured by the unpredicatable nature of the weather. When the meteorologists predict rain you are guaranteed a sun drenched scorcher ....when they predict sunny you get the full blown downpour - it's a given!

For Andy, this volatile pattern is pixie dust to the mushroom...these fruits need an abundance of both to bloom AND bloom they have. They are sprouting up all over the place - Russulas, Boletes, Agaricus, such noble names, but without 'mushroom eyes' you would probably miss the majority of them - unless you are a squirrel. These provide delicious little snacks and make these 'little greys' Andy's Enemy Number One!
